The Admission and Registration Department is responsible for handling student admission and registration procedures, as well as monitoring students' academic progress throughout their studies until graduation.
Key Department Activities:
- Preparing the academic calendar.
- Reviewing applications for student re-enrollment.
- Following up on decisions made by academic evaluation committees and the College and Institute councils regarding additional academic opportunities for students, and taking appropriate action.
- Reviewing excuses submitted by students, recording excused absences, and processing requests for retaking exams.
- Issuing and printing student documents.
- Executing internal and external course equivalency procedures.
- Managing student stipends/allowances.
- Organizing alumni affairs.
- Providing student data statistics; processing major/specialization preferences and changes.
- Reviewing requests for withdrawal from courses and semester deferrals.
