The Learning Resources Department at the General Directorate of Education in Jubail was established in 1440 AH under the management of the Industrial Research and Development Agency. It aims to supervise the libraries of colleges and institutes in Jubail Industrial City, which total three libraries: the Jubail Industrial College libraries (both male and female campuses) and the Jubail Technical Institute library. The department aims to transform these libraries into benchmark, pivotal hubs serving the educational community (faculty, training staff, students, and trainees), as well as researchers, corporate employees, and residents of Jubail City. Furthermore, it contributes to achieving the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu's vision to support the lifelong learning initiative. This is achieved by providing the latest publications of information resources in all formats, enabling beneficiary access through advanced means and technologies, and striving to establish partnerships with libraries and information centers.
