About the Educational Affairs and Training Directorate

The Academic Affairs and Training Directorate is responsible for leading and managing the Institute's academic and training operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational and training programs that meet learners' needs and labor market requirements. The Directorate aligns its activities with the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of the General Directorate of Education. It oversees academic and training programs, manages examination processes, supports faculty members, trainers, and technical staff, and promotes quality management and continuous improvement to enhance educational and training outcomes.

Directorate Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Alignment: Align the Institute's vision, mission, and objectives with the vision, mission, and strategic direction of the General Directorate of Education.

  2. Academic and Training Oversight: Oversee all academic and training programs and activities, direct and coordinate the work of the affiliated sections and units, and monitor and evaluate their performance on a regular basis.

  3. Examination Management: Supervise the planning, administration, and monitoring of centralized examinations to ensure compliance with approved regulations and procedures.

  4. Academic Talent Management: Contribute to the recruitment and selection of faculty members, trainers, and visiting professors to support the quality of teaching and training.

  5. Compliance and Policies: Monitor compliance with approved regulations, policies, and procedures by faculty members, trainers, and technical staff, and support their continuous development and implementation.

  6. Work Environment and Institutional Support: Foster a supportive and motivating work environment that encourages innovation and excellence while safeguarding the rights of faculty members, trainers, and technical staff.

  7. Quality and Continuous Improvement: Promote the implementation of quality management and quality assurance practices while supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of education and training.

  8. Performance Evaluation and Reporting: Prepare and submit periodic reports on academic and training performance and provide recommendations to improve institutional effectiveness and educational outcomes.
