Student Yazid Al-Hazmi’s Team Wins in the 2023 NASA International Space Apps Challenge

As part of the activities of the Chemical Engineering Department at Yanbu Industrial College, student Yazeed Al-Hazmi, together with a team that included students from Taibah University, participated in the NASA Space Apps Challenge on October 8, 2023.
The team achieved first place in the Al Madinah Region with their project, "Albilad", an innovative application designed to help farmers manage and burn agricultural waste in a safer and more environmentally responsible manner, minimizing potential harm to farmers, nearby communities, and the environment. This achievement highlights the students' ability to apply innovation and technology to develop sustainable solutions that address real-world environmental and community challenges.
