The Planning Department is dedicated to shaping strategic and developmental directions that ensure the efficient achievement of the College’s/Institute’s objectives. The department is responsible for formulating and monitoring operational and financial plans, conducting research and benchmarking studies to identify improvement opportunities and address challenges. It serves as a cornerstone for enhancing quality assurance mechanisms and ensuring that developmental projects and programs are executed in accordance with the highest institutional standards, driving toward academic and administrative excellence.
Department Responsibilities:
1. Formulating Developmental Plans: Contributing to the development of strategic and developmental plans and monitoring workflow to ensure goals are met.
2. Project Management and Monitoring: Providing continuous supervision over the execution of developmental projects and programsوverifying alignment with set timelines.
3. Monitoring and Compliance: Tracking the compliance of departments and units with approved operational, financial, and developmental plans.
4. Research and Benchmarking: Conducting internal and external research and benchmarking studies to explore opportunities, analyze challenges, and innovate performance improvement methods.
5. Quality Management: Actively contributing to the enhancement and implementation of all approved mechanisms for quality assurance and management.
6. Evaluation and Reporting: Preparing and submitting periodic progress reports, including recommendations to enhance performance and overcome challenges, to authorized personnel.
7. Identifying Challenges: Monitoring reports related to developmental project plans, tracking any feedback or challenges, and escalating them to decision-makers.
8. Annual Reporting: Preparing and documenting the comprehensive annual achievements report for all services and activities executed during the fiscal year based on the approved work plan.
