The Deputyship for Planning and Development is the strategic driving force behind institutional and academic performance quality. It is responsible for institutionalizing the College's/Institute’s vision and mission in alignment with the strategic directions of the General Directorate of Education. The deputyship directly oversees and guides planning processes, curriculum development, and the implementation of operational and training plans for academic and technical staff. Furthermore, it supports the College's/Institute’s efforts in activating comprehensive quality systems and fulfilling requirements for program and institutional accreditations, aiming for the highest standards of excellence, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
Deputyship Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Alignment: Establishing and achieving the vision and mission of the College/Institute in full integration with the vision and mission of the General Directorate of Education.
2. Supervising Planning and Development: Directly overseeing all planning and development operations and activities within the College/Institute, guiding and organizing the tasks of the planning and curriculum development departments, and evaluating their periodic performance.
3. Monitoring Operational Plans: Directly supervising the execution of the College's/Institute’s annual operational plans, ensuring alignment with approved targets.
4. Professional Development: Overseeing the implementation of training and development plans for faculty, trainers, and technicians to elevate their capabilities and skills.
5. Academic and Program Accreditation: Leading development plans and quality systems, supervising program accreditation processes, and actively participating in the College's/Institute’s institutional accreditation activities.
6. Quality and Continuous Improvement: Maintaining commitment and contributing continuously to reinforcing and implementing all approved mechanisms for quality assurance and management.
7. Evaluation and Reporting: Preparing and submitting periodic progress reports regarding the deputyship's workflow, including proposed recommendations to enhance overall performance.
