The Electrical Engineering Department at Yanbu Industrial College is a distinguished destination for technical and applied education in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electronics and Communication Technology, and Instrumentation Technology. Operating under the umbrella of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, we are committed to delivering high-quality education that aligns with industry needs, ensuring our graduates are fully prepared to enter the workforce with efficiency and professionalism.

Welcome to the Electrical Engineering Department at Yanbu Industrial College. As part of the Yanbu Industrial College under the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu, we are dedicated to pioneering excellence in applied education and technical training across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

Our mission is to equip high school graduates with the technical knowledge and hands-on skills essential for success in the fields of electrical, electronics, and instrumentation Technology as well as in Electrical Engineering. Guided by the values of ethics, integrity, customer focus, creativity, innovation, and teamwork, we strive to create a supportive learning environment where students can thrive academically and professionally.

Department Organizational Structure

Electrical Engineering Club

Cooperative Training:
The cooperative training program is a hands-on industrial training experience where students apply their knowledge in a real-world work environment over a 12-week industrial placement. This immersive program allows students to refine their technical and practical skills while gaining exposure to industry practices. The training concludes with the preparation of a technical report and a presentation, where students reflect on and evaluate their learning and professional development.

Academic Advising:
Academic advisor support students in achieving their academic and professional goals. Advisors guide students through course selection, help them understand program requirements, and provide insights into career paths relevant to their studies. They assist students in addressing academic challenges, managing workloads, and making informed decisions about their educational journey. Additionally, advisors may offer resources and support for students' personal development, preparing them to transition into their professional careers effectively.

Graduation Projects:
Senior Design Projects provide students with an opportunity to apply their accumulated knowledge in a practical, project-based environment. Typically undertaken in the final year, these projects involve designing, developing, and implementing a solution to a real-world engineering or technology problem, often in collaboration with industry partners or faculty advisors. Students work in teams to foster collaboration and project management skills, from initial concept and planning stages through to prototyping, testing, and final presentation. This experience is designed to simulate professional engineering challenges, enhancing students' technical competencies, problem-solving abilities, and readiness for industry.
