About the Department

The Department of Chemical Engineering at Yanbu Industrial College is recognized as a leading educational destination in the fields of chemical engineering and process operations & chemical analysis technology. Operating under the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the department is dedicated to delivering high-quality academic and applied education that meets the needs of the industrial sector, preparing graduates with the knowledge and skills required to integrate effectively into the workforce.

The department offers the following academic programs:

  • Intermediate Diploma in Process Operations & Chemical Analysis Technology (for male and female students).
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (for male students).

These programs aim to equip students with specialized engineering knowledge and practical experience necessary to work in refining, petrochemicals, manufacturing industries, and fields related to quality control and chemical analysis.

The department also strives to foster a culture of research and innovation, and to develop an educational environment grounded in integrity, creativity, and teamwork.
