Guidance and counseling play a crucial role in directing and supporting students, helping them understand their challenges, and creating an educational environment that fosters positive behavior. It also aids in adaptation and active participation in both academic and extracurricular activities, providing the most effective and suitable solutions to overcome academic, psychological, behavioral, and social challenges that may negatively impact their performance and academic success.

Objective:

To develop students’ psychological, social, behavioral, and cognitive aspects, ensuring their smooth adjustment to university life.

Guidance and Counseling Responsibilities:

  • Assisting new students in adapting to and integrating into university life.

  • Helping students resolve social, psychological, and behavioral issues by providing confidential consultations.

  • Enabling students to discover themselves by recognizing their abilities, interests, and skills, as well as understanding and addressing the challenges they face.

  • Informing students about their rights and responsibilities.

  • Studying cases of academic difficulties and addressing them on an individual basis.

  • Examining negative behaviors and issues that may impact students' academic progress and providing preventive and corrective solutions.

  • Engaging students in organizing extracurricular activities to make productive use of their free time, refine their personal skills, and gain new experiences.

  • Organizing seminars and workshops to develop students’ academic, intellectual, and interactive skills, fostering a positive mindset and motivating them to excel both academically and personally.

  • Connecting students with the community to enhance their social skills and positive personal development.

  • Studying cases that require financial support and providing assistance through loans and grants.
