Scientific research promotion committees
The Director General of Colleges and Institutes in each city shall form a committee called the "Committee for the Promotion of Scientific Research and Publication," to be renewed every two years. The committee shall consist of a chairperson and four faculty members with sufficient experience, and its members must be approved by the Scientific Council.
The committee shall carry out tasks related to encouraging scientific research and publication. Specifically, it shall recommend attendance at conferences, workshops, seminars, and training courses, as well as publication incentives and patent rewards for faculty members, trainees, and their equivalents within the Colleges and Institutes Sector, in accordance with the regulations and guidelines approved by the Scientific Council.
The committee shall provide the Scientific Council with copies of its meeting minutes for continuous review and follow-up.
