The Planning and Development Agency serves as the cornerstone of the development process at Jubail Technical Institute. It is responsible for realizing the Institute’s mission, objectives, and strategic plans, as well as enhancing the quality of services, productivity, and excellence. It achieves this by advancing administrative and academic operational systems and by leading, supporting, and coordinating planning and development activities across all Institute departments and Education Sector divisions.
The Agency aims to drive comprehensive, positive development within the Institute through the implementation of locally and internationally recognized standards. This development process encompasses educational planning, curriculum and instructor development, organizational structure, and operational and performance systems and procedures.
To achieve its objectives, the Planning and Development Agency carries out administrative and supervisory tasks related to strategic planning and monitors the alignment of the Institute’s goals with the National Transformation Program 2020—in support of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Furthermore, the Agency facilitates the provision of necessary support and information to vice-deans and department heads, manages and tracks the implementation of academic accreditation programs, oversees development-related studies and tasks, and coordinates with the Royal Commission, the Education Sector, and the Ministry of Education on relevant matters.
