Yanbu Technical Institute organized a training workshop for students and faculty members of the Instrumentation Program titled "The 555 Timer Integrated Circuit (IC)", highlighting the significant role this component plays in electronic applications.

During the workshop, Engineer Youssef delivered a detailed explanation of the 555 timer’s characteristics and operational mechanism, in addition to presenting several practical applications such as:

• Flasher circuit

• Lie detector

• Adjustable-speed pump driver

The workshop contributed to enhancing the participants’ applied understanding and effectively bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications in the field of electronics.
