Yanbu Technical Institute Signs Partnership with the UK’s National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH)

Yanbu Technical Institute has announced the signing of a partnership with the UK’s National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) to offer the prestigious and internationally recognized International General Certificate (IGC) in Occupational Health and Safety.

This partnership combines the Institute’s expertise in vocational training with the global accreditation value of NEBOSH certifications. The IGC equips trainees with in-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, in addition to best practices and international standards in the field.

This achievement crowns the Institute’s ongoing efforts to deliver high-quality programs that support the national industry and align with the Royal Commission’s vision and objectives in promoting sustainable education and training.

Yanbu Technical Institute Honors Its Students Who Won in the ISA Student Competition

Yanbu Technical Institute hosted a celebratory event to honor its outstanding students who secured second and third places in the International Society of Automation (ISA) Student Competition for the years 2024 and 2025.

The event served as a distinguished platform for the students to share their inspiring stories and successful experiences through presentations delivered to their peers and faculty members.

"Introduction to Rigging Operations" Workshop at Yanbu Technical Institute

Under the supervision of the Mechanical Skills Department, Yanbu Technical Institute organized a workshop titled "Introduction to Rigging Operations", delivered by Engineer Mour Suleiman for the Institute’s trainees.

The workshop aimed to enhance participants' skills in rigging operations and the use of lifting equipment and accessories, in accordance with industry standards, regulations, and recognized legislation. It also covered best practices for equipment inspection and safe operation procedures in line with lifting equipment usage requirements.

Similar workshops will be held for all students of the Institute in the coming days, contributing to improved competency and adherence to occupational safety standards.

The Electrical Skills Department at Yanbu Technical Institute, represented by the department head and program coordinators, honored a select group of outstanding students within the department.

This recognition was based on rigorous criteria, including commitment, academic performance, and exemplary conduct. It was granted in appreciation of their dedicated efforts, to encourage them to continue excelling, and to strengthen their sense of belonging to the Institute.

Yanbu Technical Institute Organizes an Introductory Course on Artificial Intelligence in Collaboration with Huawei

In alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, Yanbu Technical Institute organized an introductory training course on Artificial Intelligence for first-year students, aiming to equip them with fundamental skills and essential concepts in this rapidly evolving field.

The course covered several key topics, including:

• Introduction to the principles of Artificial Intelligence

• Overview of the history and development of AI

• Cloud computing and its applications

• Emerging trends in global technical education

A total of 13 students participated in the course, which served as a valuable opportunity to enhance their technical knowledge and connect them with the latest global trends.

At the conclusion of the course, the Institute extends its sincere appreciation to Engineer Wael Qasti, a certified AI trainer from Huawei, for his efforts and initiative in delivering this high-quality training.
