| Bachelor of Science Program – Computer Engineering
Program Description
Computer Engineering is a dynamic and evolving discipline that integrates principles from electrical engineering and computer science to design, develop, and implement computer-based systems. The Computer Engineering program provides a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of computing, combining knowledge of hardware architecture, software development, and system integration. Our program blends core concepts in physical and computer sciences with engineering design, enabling students to build reliable, efficient, and scalable computing systems. Students gain expertise in both software and hardware development—software development emphasizes applying engineering principles to create robust and efficient software solutions, while hardware development focuses on designing and optimizing computer hardware to support advanced computing functions and control processes. The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BS-CE) program is structured to provide: · A strong set of core courses that ensure a broad understanding of fundamental concepts in computer engineering. · Advanced specialized courses that provide in-depth knowledge in key areas such as embedded systems, computer architecture, digital design, networking, information security, and more. · Flexibility through elective courses that allow students to tailor their studies based on individual interests and emerging industry trends. Through a combination of classroom learning, hands-on labs, and design projects, our graduates are well-equipped to meet the challenges of modern technology environments and pursue careers in diverse fields such as embedded systems, software engineering, hardware design, and systems integration. The program structure allows the students to choose one from two options: -Option 1: COOP -Option 2: Senior Design Project Students are also given option to choose the specific track to get specialized under the following subject area: - Network and Security - Digital Systems
