KAUST Academy of Artificial Intelligence
05 January 2025
Two students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Yanbu Industrial College, Abdullah Nasser Al-Roumi and Adel Tali Asiri, proudly participated in the KAUST Academy for Artificial Intelligence Program, organized by KAUST Academy in collaboration with the National Technology Development Program (NTDP), held from January 5–9, 2025, at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). The program included 40 hours of intensive training, equipping participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in artificial intelligence and its modern applications across various sectors. Both students demonstrated outstanding commitment, active engagement, and academic excellence, earning them an official certificate of completion from the academy. It is worth noting that they successfully advanced from the first stage out of more than 10,000 applicants and qualified for the second stage among the top 1,000 students from universities across the Kingdom. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication of YIC students to self-development and active participation in national capacity-building initiatives, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to foster technological innovation and develop national talent in future-oriented fields.
