AI League by SCAI, presented by Tuwaiq Academy, in Riyadh

The SABAR Team from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Yanbu Industrial College participated in the AI League by SCAI, organized by Tuwaiq Academy in Riyadh on April 25, 2025. The team, consisting of Basil Al-Mahmadi (Team Leader), Talah Al-Qahtani, and Haneen Al-Alouni, presented an innovative project in the Sports Talent Discovery track using Artificial Intelligence. They successfully advanced to the final in-person stage after eight weeks of virtual competitions that included specialized training workshops. With over 600 teams from 20 countries competing, the SABAR Team did not place in the top three; however, the experience provided a valuable enhancement to their technical and research skills, while strengthening their spirit of innovation and teamwork.
