Academic Advising Team Services

The Academic Advising Team at Yanbu English Language and Preparatory Year Institute was established in 2021, with a primary goal to help prep-year students navigate the challenges of college life successfully. The team members offer a range of services that empowers students to thrive in their academic pursuits, including:

 

·       Personalized tutoring: The team members provide one-on-one sessions that are specifically tailored to low-achieving prep-year students, helping them build confidence, master challenging concepts, and improve their academic performance.

 

·       Intensive remedial programs: Our remedial classes and workshops are designed to provide the struggling students with the support needed to prepare them for quizzes, midterms, and final exams.

 

·       Academic Orientation program and consultation sessions: The team members conduct academic orientation meetings for the new intake. They also offer consultation sessions during the semester for individuals and groups. 

 

·       Liaison with Student Affairs: Acting as a bridge between Yanbu English Language and Preparatory Year Institute and the Student Affairs, the team members make sure students’ inquiries are answered, and their requests are facilitated. Moreover, the team members assist students in resolving any non-academic challenges they may face.
