About the Agency
The Planning and Development Directorate serves as the foundation of the development process at Jubail Technical Institute. It has taken upon itself the responsibility of fulfilling the institute’s mission and objectives, implementing strategic plans, enhancing the quality of services provided, and raising productivity and excellence by improving both administrative and academic systems. The directorate also leads, supports, and coordinates planning and development initiatives across all departments of the institute and within the Education Sector.
The Planning and Development Directorate aims to bring about comprehensive and positive transformation at the institute through the application of nationally and internationally recognized standards. The development process encompasses educational planning, curriculum and trainer development, organizational structures, operational systems, performance processes, and procedures.
To achieve its objectives, the Directorate undertakes supervisory administrative functions related to strategic planning, monitoring, and aligning the institute’s goals with the National Transformation Program 2020 in support of achieving Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, God willing. Furthermore, it contributes by providing the necessary support and information to vice deans and department heads, ensuring the effective management and monitoring of academic accreditation programs, overseeing development-related studies and initiatives, and coordinating with the Royal Commission, the Education Sector, and the Ministry of Education on related matters.
