About the Department:  The Department of Business Administration is dedicated to preparing students for successful careers in various business roles. The department offers a number of programs in the fields of business administration, management information systems, accounting, human resources, logistics and supply chain management, and office management. These programs offer a combination of academic knowledge and practical training, equipping graduates with strong organizational, communication, and technological skills that enable them to succeed across diverse sectors and dynamic work environments.

Chemical Engineering

About the Department:  The department has established a set of objectives to fulfill its mission. These objectives are achieved through a set of well-defined tasks which focus on creating a conducive and stimulating educational environment. This includes developing and implementing innovative and responsive curriculum, teaching and learning strategies, outcome-based assessment, and continuous improvement process using state-of-the-art and well-equipped teaching facilities. In addition to curricular activities, students are continuously encouraged to actively participate in Engineering Project Competitions, Career Day Exhibitions, Science Clubs, and other extracurricular activities. The department also plays an important role in developing the careers of practicing engineers, operators, technicians and other industrial trainees by organizing and delivering programs and courses tailored to the needs of the local industry and the community. 

Mechanical Engineering

In addition to curricular activities, students are continuously encouraged to actively participate in Engineering Project Competitions, Career Day Exhibitions, Science Clubs, ASME JIC – Student’s Section and other extracurricular activities. The department maintains close links with the industries, values their experience and incorporate their feedbacks into its curriculum. The department also provides courses tailored to the needs of the local industry and community.

Electrical Engineering

English Language

About the Department: The Department of English seeks to provide its students with quality education in the English language, linguistics, literature and translation. It also strives to have its students attain language proficiency, as well as the academic and professional skills conducive to success in the job market.

Architecture and Planning

Role of the Department: The Architecture and Planning Department is dedicated to providing a high-quality educational environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills in the architectural and planning fields.Graduates are prepared to uphold ethical and socially responsible practices aligned with Islamic values. They excel in effective communication, proficient use of technology, and proactive participation in individual and group initiatives.Maintaining strong ties with industry partners, the department continually updates its curriculum and training to meet evolving professional and community needs.  

Civil Engineering

These objectives are achieved through a set of well-defined tasks which focus on creating a conducive and stimulating educational environment. This includes developing and implementing innovative and responsive curriculum, teaching and learning strategies, outcome-based assessment, and continuous improvement process using state-of art, up-to-date and well equipped laboratory equipment and teaching facilities. In addition to curricular activities, students are continuously encouraged to actively participate in Engineering Project Competitions, Career Day Exhibitions, Science Clubs, ASCE JIC – Student's Section and other extracurricular activities.The department is training future generation of leading civil engineers through a unique approach to education. The department maintains close links with the stakeholders and alumnae, values their experience and incorporate their feedbacks into its curriculum. The department also provides courses tailored to the needs of the local industry and community.

Computer and Information Technology

Role of the Department To fulfill its Mission, the COIT Department aims to develop and implement a responsive curriculum, teaching & learning strategies, outcome-based assessment, and continues improvement process using state-of-the-art teaching facilities. These tasks contribute to creating a conductive and stimulating educational environment. In addition to curricular activities, the students are continuously encouraging to actively participate the various extra-curricular activities. The COIT Department is currently offering Three programs: Associate of Science in Management & Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and  Bachelor of Science in Information Technology The Associate of Science program at COIT Department is fully accredited by a leaning accreditation body, the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The COIT Department is primarily involved in teaching and training Computer Science, Information Technology subject areas. The COIT Department also serves the academic needs of other department of Jubail Industrial College by providing CS and IT courses to their AS and BS degree programs. The department also provides courses tailored to the needs of the local industries and community.

General Studies

About the Department: The Department of General Studies is one of the first educational departments to be in contact with the newly enrolled students in the College. To fulfill its mission, the Department has set a supportive learning environment where a wide variety of courses are offered using state-of-the-art teaching facilities to strengthen the students‟ background to support them throughout their study at JIC.The Department of General Studies has set the following objectives:To bridge the gap between secondary school education and JIC specialization programs during the preparatory year.To offer specialization courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Islamic Culture for Management and Information Technology and Engineering Technology Departments.To provide courses tailored to the needs of the local industry and community.
