The Department of Business Administration at Jubail Industrial College started its work in 2006 under the patronage of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. Since its inception until May 31, 2022, it was an academic department at Jubail University College. On June 1, 2022, Jubail University College merged with Jubail Industrial College. It is now one of the main academic departments at Jubail Industrial College.

To prepare graduates capable of performing satisfactorily in the profession, which is consistent with JIC’s mission statement of providing (and receiving) high-quality technological education and training to meet the needs of a highly trained workforce for industries.
