About student activities

The Student Activities Unit is responsible for organizing and coordinating events and activities that aim to develop students’ cultural, social, and athletic skills, as well as enhance their leadership and creative abilities. The unit manages student clubs, oversees events and exhibitions, and organizes activities that contribute to students’ personal development and strengthen their sense of community. It also provides a supportive environment that encourages innovation and active participation, helping to improve students’ quality of life and preparing them to become active members of society.

The Quality Department is also responsible for administrative and organizational work related to quality management systems and setting standards for their implementation. This is achieved by developing electronic platforms to automate and document programmatic and institutional academic accreditation processes, in accordance with ISO specifications. It also supports colleges and institutes in maintaining local and international academic accreditations to achieve numerous goals that contribute to improving the quality of performance in the outcomes of all educational and training quality processes.

The department also seeks to disseminate the culture of quality, accreditation, and the concepts of quality management systems across the departments and agencies of the General Administration of Education by holding lectures, seminars, training courses, and workshops in cooperation with departments and agencies concerned with development and quality in the education sector.

Student activity objectives:

  • Developing students' personal and social skills through their participation in scouting, cultural, sports, social, and scientific activities.
  • Fostering leadership and collaboration by engaging students in student clubs and group projects that develop their leadership skills.
  • Stimulating creativity and innovation by organizing events and programs that encourage critical and creative thinking in various fields.
  • Promoting a sense of belonging to the community through activities that promote national values ​​and community participation in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
  • Developing physical and mental health by providing sports programs and recreational activities that help enhance students' physical fitness and mental health.
  • Enriching the student experience by creating a vibrant and diverse environment that allows students to enjoy recreational and cultural activities outside of academic study.
  • Supporting communication and interaction between students, faculty members, and administration by organizing events and exhibitions that contribute to strengthening the relationship between all components of the academic community.
